School Board Trustee Vacancy

Vacancy
The School District is seeking an individual to fill a trustee vacancy on the school board. This position has been opened due to the resignation of Mike Knittel and will run for the remainder of his term which ends July 1, 2017. If the individual appointed to fill the vacancy wishes to continue on the school board, they would need to run for election in May 2017.

Emmett Independent School District operates under the provisions of its charter which does not have trustee zones. All six (6) board members are elected in a county wide election and may live anywhere within the Emmett School District.

Interested individuals are encouraged to submit a letter of interest and resume to the superintendent's office by December 1, 2016. For more information or questions, please contact the Emmett School District Office at 208-365-6301.
