  • Communications The Emmett School District provides emergency information through voice messages, email and text through our Infinite Campus program. 

    Update your communication information by contacting your student(s) school office. 

    We also inform local radio and TV stations of school closures. The list of stations can be found on our Web site at www.emmettschools.org/closures.
     
    We also encourage you to "Like" the Emmett School District #221 Facebook page for updates.

  • School Board Trustee OpeningChair with vacancy sign

    Emmett Independent School District is seeking an individual to fill a trustee vacancy on the school board. The new board member’s term will last until January 1, 2020. 

    • Letters of interest, resume and proof of residency due March 1, 2019 - 4pm
    • Letters of recommendation accepted but not required
    • Interviews 4pm March 6, 2019

  • How am I notified of school emergencies, weather closures, etc?

    Our District communication system is through Infinite Campus. You may view and edit your notification preferences by logging into Infinite Campus and clicking "Contact Preferences".

    To change your phone numbers, address, or name, please contact your student's school office.

    You may also find weather closure information from the following resources:

  • How can I view my student's progress or schedule?

    The District uses Infinite Campus. Parents are able to view grades, attendance, student schedules, etc. Only one login is necessary to view all your children.

    Your student(s) school office will be able to give you your login information.

  • How do I register my child for school?

    Please complete an enrollment form, provide a certified birth certificate, current record of immunizations, and proof of residence.  The enrollment form may be picked up from the school. The enrollment form must be submitted to the school in your residential zone. If you wish to attend a school outside of your zone, please complete an Open Enrollment Form.

    To request your child attend a school outside of your residential zone, please complete our Open Enrollment Form. The form may be picked up or requested from the District Office or downloaded from our website in the Parents/Students section. The completed form must be submitted to the Emmett School District Office for approval.

  • What school will my child(ren) attend?

    Our District is separated into school zones.

    Each elementary school has it's own residential area. You may enter your address in our Google Boundary Map to find your zone or contact the Transportation Department at 208-365-3207. Please note Shadow Butte and Sweet are K-5th and Kenneth J Carberry is K-4th.

    We have one Middle school, 5th through 8th grades, and two high schools. Emmett High School is 9th through 12th. Black Canyon High School is our alternative high school.
