    Absentee ballots are due by 8 pm Tuesday, May 18th, the same day you can go to the polls and cast your ballot. 

    Early voting continues through Friday, May 14th, at the Gem County Courthouse in Elections.

Important Information

    Superintendent Woods makes recommendations regarding school start category, masks and delayed start (August 31) for students; Trustees will discuss recommendations and decide at Monday (August 10) meeting

    Please see Superintendent Woods' letter regarding his recommendations to the School Board on August 10. The board still needs to vote on the recommendations.
    Recomendaciones: Por favor ver la carta del Superintendente Woods con sus recomendaciones a la junta de directivos del Distrito de Emmett para el 10 de agosto. La junta de directivos necesita hacer el voto para adoptar las recomendaciones.

  • Green sign says Meals Resume Monday, July 27

    We are happy to report that the Summer Meals Program will resume Monday, July 27, at the Middle School between 11 am and 1 pm. We appreciate everyone's understanding and support as we navigate new territory!

  • Online Free/Reduced Meal Applications accepted via Parent Portal on Infinite Campus

    The Emmett Independent School District has implemented an Online Free/Reduced Meals Application in the Parent Portal for the 2020-2021 school year. You can complete your application via the Parent Portal on Infinite Campus. This link provides instructions and will direct you to that site.

  • How am I notified of school emergencies, weather closures, etc?

    Our District communication system is through Infinite Campus. You may view and edit your notification preferences by logging into Infinite Campus and clicking "Contact Preferences".

    To change your phone numbers, address, or name, please contact your student's school office.

    You may also find weather closure information from the following resources:

  • How can I view my student's progress or schedule?

    The District uses Infinite Campus. Parents are able to view grades, attendance, student schedules, etc. Only one login is necessary to view all your children.

    Your student(s) school office will be able to give you your login information.

  • How do I register my child for school?

    Please complete an enrollment form, provide a certified birth certificate, current record of immunizations, and proof of residence.  The enrollment form may be picked up from the school. The enrollment form must be submitted to the school in your residential zone. If you wish to attend a school outside of your zone, please complete an Open Enrollment Form.

  • May I request my child(ren) attend a school outside of our residential zone?

    To request your child attend a school outside of your residential zone, please complete our Open Enrollment Form. The form may be picked up or requested from the District Office or downloaded from our website in the Parents/Students section. The completed form must be submitted to the Emmett School District Office for approval.

  • What school will my child(ren) attend?

    Our District is separated into elementary school zones.

    Each elementary school has it's own residential area. You may enter your address in our Google Boundary Map to find your zone or contact the Transportation Department at 208-365-3207. Please note Shadow Butte and Sweet are K-5th and Kenneth J Carberry is K-5th.  Butte View offers all-day kindergarten and first grade. 

    We have one Middle school, 6th through 8th grades, and two high schools. Emmett High School is 9th through 12th. Black Canyon Junior-Senior High School is our alternative school for students in grades 6th-12th.
