  • Open enrollment is July 1st - August 1st with an effective date of September 1st. 

    This is the only time you can make changes to your medical, dental, vision benefits outside of a family status change (such as marriage, divorce, birth, death, loss of job, loss of coverage etc.).
    If you need to make any changes during the open enrollment period you must come to the district office and fill out the correct forms.




    Insurance  - 2019/20

    Please note - the rates were changed mid-August 2019. Sadly, our effort to obtain partially self-funded insurance was blocked by the State Department of Insurance. This meant that we had to continue with fully funded insurance through Pacific Source. Our rates increased by an additional 3.4%. While the district decided to pay the unexpected increase for the employee for this year, additional family members will be at the higher rate at a cost to the employee.

    Willamette Dental has also made some changes to their coverage this year. The co-pay for many services has changed. Please be sure to review the Willamette Dental information for details.

  • Due to IRS regulations, you cannot change your elections outside of the annual Open Enrollment period (July 1 - Aug 1st), unless you have a Qualifying Event during the year. Following are examples of the most common Qualifying Events: 
    • Marriage or divorce
    • Birth or adoption of a child
    • Child reaching age 26
    • Death of a spouse, or child
    • Change in child custody
    • Change in coverage election made by spouse during their employer's Open Enrollment period
    • Loss of coverage under spouse's plan.
    You must contact Human Resources within 30 days of the Qualifying Event (including newborns).
