My name is Lindsey Adams and I teach third grade here at Carberry Elementary. I have taught for nine years, two previously in St. Louis, Missouri where I taught first grade and seven years here at Carberry in the third grade. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Missouri State University in 2006. I then received my Masters Degree in Education from Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, Missouri, in 2009. In August of 2009, I moved to Emmett, Idaho with my husband Kent Adams. My husband and I have been living here for nine years now and we love it. We have two children, Leila and Brooke, and a large yellow labrador named Cash.
My teaching philosophy is to make each and everyday a safe and positive place to learn. I will not give up on a child's willingness to learn and teach them how enjoyable it is. I believe in working in cooperative groups and learning from our mistakes as well as being able to voice our opinions in class. Learning is fun and that's what we can achieve when working in a safe and positive environment.
