    Emmett High School will prepare all students for individual success

    HISTORY CLUB - History Club will have meetings every Tuesday during lunch in room 111. All current and new members welcome!

     

    PICTURE RETAKES - Picture retakes will be on October 6th in the library. 

     

    KEY CARDS - All students should have their key cards, if anyone doesn’t or your key isn’t working please come by the office and see Mrs. Saldana. 

     

    SENIORS

    FAFSA NIGHT - Attn all seniors and senior parents: EHS is holding a FAFSA Night on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

     

    CAP & GOWN - The cost of the cap and gowns are $43, the price will go up after February 1st to $50.00. All caps and gowns need to be ordered by February 15th. 

     

    SENIOR SHIRTS - Please be sure to check your email for information on senior shirts. Shirts must be prepaid, the cost of the shirts is $20. Turn in the money to Mrs. Myers in 206, all shirts need to be paid for by October 28th. 

     

    COLLEGE AND CAREER - the College & Career tab on the website is updated with the checklists and I have a special tab labeled "attention seniors" to help seniors with: preparing letters of recommendation requests, applying for colleges, scholarships, etc. Teachers have also been emailed about scholarship opportunities opening September 1st and students can ask their teachers about these art and writing scholarship opportunities.

     

    IDAHO POSTSECONDARY CREDIT SCHOLARSHIP – Many of your scholarships may be eligible for a match from the State of Idaho. That means if you get a scholarship for $200 the state will give you $200 more to be used for tuition and fees at the Idaho approved college. You can submit multiple scholarships for the match until you reach the approved amount listed below.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    ·         Earned 10 or more post secondary credits – Match up to $2,000

    ·         Earned 20 or more post secondary credits – Match up to $4,000

    ·         Earned an Associate’s Degree – match up to $8,000

     

    You will need to go online to apply and upload all the supporting documents needed. They request that you scan all your scholarship letters and certificates in one batch and upload them once.
