ESD Schools then & now

Located in the scenic Valley of Plenty, the Emmett School District is one of three original charter school districts and was established before Idaho became a state. It is comprised of Gem County and a small portion of Boise County and serves approximately 2,500 students.

Located about 35 miles northwest of Boise, the town of Emmett is in the heart of Gem County and is where most students attend.  A close-knit community, Emmett has a rich history agriculture and family.

Today, our small town is home to a variety of hometown activities, including Cherry Festival, Cruise Night, the Gem County Fair and Rodeo, and our own Homecoming. Most importantly, it is the home of a community of amazing students we are privileged to serve in the Emmett School District.
