BIO:  Hello, I'm Brandy Marquez, a dedicated Huskie graduate, Class of 1996. With a passion for the great outdoors and a deep love for my family, I've always cherished the simple joys of life. For the past decade, I've been proudly serving as an Emmett High School Softball coach. Together, we strive for excellence and proudly represent our beloved school. GO HUSKIES!

BIO:   I am very excited to be a part of this team. Before accepting the Accounts Payable position, I worked for ESD as a Business Support/Attendance Specialist and at Valor Health as a Specialist Clinic Coordinator. I am married with a son and a stepdaughter, they are both 8. I love baking, baking shows, long walks, and planning art projects with my kids or any kind of project with my family. Being a mom and wife is the greatest blessing God gave me.

ELL~Migrant Coordinator 

BIO: I am dedicated to serving English language learners and Migrant students and their families in Emmett. I have worked for the Emmett School District as an ELL and Migrant Coordinator since 2012 with prior experience as a certified ELL teacher in Oregon for 13 years and a combined 6 years working as a dual language certified teacher overseas including Mexico, El Salvador, and Bolivia. I hold a teaching certificate and a master’s degree in Bilingual education. I enjoy gardening, indoor plants, cooking with my husband, and spending time with our family. My favorite food is tacos.

Community Schools Coordinator

BIO: I am a wife and mother of 4 children who all attend schools in the Emmett School District. I was born and raised in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. After getting married, my husband and I had the opportunity to live in many different states as he worked in construction management. 5 years ago we decided it was time to come back to Idaho and raise our family here. We love Emmett! I have been working for the Emmett School District for 3 years. I love going on bike rides, walks, jogs, playing card & board games with my family, and visiting family and friends.

BIO: I have worked for the Emmett School District since 2007.  I started part-time as a Career Specialist then moved to GEAR UP Coordinator and have been at the District Office since 2019 as a Data, Reporting, and Testing Coordinator.

BIO: 

I’m new to the education world, having started with the District Office in July, 2023. My background is in administrative support, hospitality, and (believe it or not) retail.

I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, Mike, since 2010. We met when we were both working in Yellowstone National Park, and I told him that he was the best souvenir I’ve ever brought home from there. We’ve been back in Emmett since 2012. In July, 2023, we became pet parents to a mischievous black lab puppy named Bailey. She’s a love bug and keeps us on our toes.

When I’m not working, or puppy training, I love to hike, bicycle, and bake.
